I suspect that as usual the M&S website just can't cope, but it's worth getting to a store if you can, as there are some silly prices eg women's fur collar jacket was £85, then £35, now £7! Most things seem to be either £7 or £9 (man's Autograph shirt).

Reason being when I phoned up was one of the items was not in stock (trousers that went with the suit)

Had to cancel the whole order

It's irritating, having to phone them, though - surely they should contact us if things are out of stock.

Went into the Middlesbrough store early this morning and got a leather jacket size 12 for my sister reduced from £58 to £7. In fact a lady followed me round and asked me if I wanted it, as she had brought it back the day before and had come in to buy it cheaper at £7.

Some good bargains in the store. And in Debenhams they have men's cashmere sweaters reduced from £80 to £40 but only in a brown. Nice though! I missed out on the £15 grey men's cashmere sweaters from M&S online. The other colours are still at £69. Will they come down further?

Has anybody else had problems using the free p&p code? I placed a couple of orders yesterday, finally had confirmation today but code not applied. I will be ringing up to complain but just wondered if this had happened to anyone else?

Code went through OK for me, but ordered yesterday evening and haven't had confimation yet.

my confirmation email came through today - one item out of stock (afore mentioned wellies for child to grow into so no loss) which took me below the 30 quid but it looked like they had honoured the free post and packing - as it said free by p & p

Arrrgh I was using the site about fifteen mins ago and had stuff in my basket when it just stopped working.

If it comes back up again, you might be interested that there is new stock on there.

The products are still on the site, it's just the tree menu that has disappeared. There's no category system at the moment. Hopefully it will come back up.
