o2 tariffs and that 07744974404

Hey guys, I want to get an o2 contract with off-peak minutes. I have found a tariff called 'O2 Leisure Time Plus' which gives me 1000 off peak mins but says the mins are: 'Off Peak, Own Network and Local/National' i.e: I'm guessing that means I can only use them on O2 mobiles. Anyway, I use that international access number 07744974404 for calling abroad a lot, infact want the contract just for that, however can I access that number from the tariff free of charge?! Thanks! :)

No - it counts as a different mobile network

There is an Orange contract with 1000 off-peak all-network minutes (be careful, as they also have one with only same network and landlines) that would be usable, but some dealers seem to have stopped selling this contract

Ohh i see - and Orange allow the 077 number (i.e: don't charge extra for it?)

At the moment, yes. They changed their minds on this twice last year, so we hope they won't again.

ahhh - think I should be looking at an O2 off peak -any network tariff then, can't risk Orange 'changing their minds' again..

I should also say that perhaps some of the destinations you want to reach may be reached via 0844 numbers which would come from the inclusive minutes on the O2 contract

If you have to use that number offpeak on o2 then go for leisure time all on o2. £25 per month for 500mins offpeak xnet, which will let you use that number :)

    Hi Paz,

I've been using that company for about 6 months to call Ireland. I have the Leisure Time Plus tariff with 1000 off peak minutes. But I use the S-F access number starting 08700 **** and this is classed as a National Rate number which will use up your Inclusive Minutes.

iggy, I think the OP knew that already

There are plenty of other providers as well, without S-F needing to be boosted here or up in Google by its fans posting all the time

I thought that you were not allowed to post access numbers unless a source/link was given!!

Their is no such thing as National Rate on residential.
