push email for windows mobile

I have just bought a new phone (htc touch pro 2), and I am presently trying to set up push email in windows mobile. I am on t-mobile and have the 'web n walk' package. Can someone tell me how the set up works for my personal email like hotmail and will I need any extra email package like blackberry?

The phone should have come with an email client. Use that. If it does not google for "email client for windows mobile".

Is it free to use with 'web n walk', or will I have to pay for an email package like the blackberry 'bis' service

It should be free as long as you have a data package like web n walk. It just uses data. For example I use xpress mail on my windows mobile phones. And set it up to pull/push all my emails. gmail, hotmail, yahoo, etc.

Not all email clients support push email, however hotmail is one that does for free. others like gmx still operate on a pull basis unless you have it set up to an exchange server. Also some people report issues of hotmail.com and hotmail.co.uk addresses and the stability of the push, but there doesn't seem to be a problem with live.com addresses. If you do experience a problem simply set up a live.com address and have all you hotmail email forwarded to it.

    As for setting it up,

Click on windows live in programs (should be there). If not download it.
    Click menu and select 'options'
    select 'sync schedule'
    select as 'items arrive'

You don't need anything else. All included in your data allowance.
