Chanel counter was deserted this evening, but a lovely assistant on a neighbouring rival counter dug the mascaras out for me from the cupboard underneath and I came away with two (I had two little tickets from the Elle magazine, as I got two copies so's I could have two different colours of summer bag, stripy and cream). Therefore did not have to have a mascara consultation or anything

Headsup to those in Cardiff...the Boots Chanel counter has none left thanks to an ad on Red Dragon Radio but they're expecting more in and if you have the ELLE card you WILL receive a sample mascara. This lovely and very down to earth SA then pointed me towards Debenhams St Davids Centre...the Chanel Counter there was deserted but a Givenchy SA came over and was absolutely lovely, she spent a good ten minutes opening drawers, going away to find keys for the locked ones and YAY she found them...from the amount I could see in the envelope - there are about 40 samples...(might be more hidden away..)...so -they're available and I have to say...I feel a bit *posh* wearing *Chanel* mascara as opposed to my trusted Boots No 7..and the Chanel stuff is really really good!!
