Its a little black card (credit card sized) which may look a little more chic then a paper coupon! but can see your point! would rather hand over a card then walk up to an S.A and ask if they have any free mascaras!

the card is a good idea, i had to walk up and ask for the freebie. The assistant looked me up and down and was really reluctant to give it to me...cheeky cow!

Think it was probably Dior- I got myselrf a mini from Dior last year- and sampled their spray-on foundation, I soooo want that foundation! think Chanel did do a mini sample last year but they all went in a flash! The Dior ones were available for a few months despite being posted on here:T Fingers crossed they do the same this year- last years worked on me, I went out and bought the real thing (DiorShow) at Christmas- its still going strong now!

I'd love to try this mascara and I'll give it a go this weekend but it really gets my blood boiling when some of the SA's seem to have this whole *who in hell do you think you are asking me for something..* that said, I find the SA's at the Boots stores are very approachable and friendly, be they Dior, Clinique, Chanel but there's always one in a another store who seems to think she's really something special...I find, if they look you up and down...do the same back...and watch her deflate...:p

I remember an absolute classic from Absolutely Fabulous when Eddie was at a very very posh art gallery to buy some paintings...she was getting some right snotty repostes from the receptionist...and as a parting shot to the woman, she leaned in and said very loudly - as only Eddie can...

*You're only on £4.50 an hour - so drop the attitude!!*...made me laugh out loud - just keep that in mind next time you're faced with a right frosty knickers...she'll wonder what you're smiling at...and it won't be her personality...LOL...:p
