    Many thanks.

Yes, we have the service book and the front page is a sort of check list with the salesman completing it. There is the date of purchase, description of the van and under that "you have chosen the 3 year/100k warranty" and he has ticked that box and crossed off the next line which is a 4 year warranty.

Not quite the same as saying it had 3 years from purchase - the service book states that the van had 3 years cover which will run from registration. I also suspect that the book will have a dealer stamp in it showing that a PDI was carried out (usually the date of registration).

Are you sure that the salesman completed the front of the service book............or did the service department when they PDI'd it 12 months earlier........

Think you may be stuffed on this unless the service book states 3 years from XXX (Date you purchased)

Well, Im hoping the salesman will be decent and keep to his word. Yes, Im sure the salesman completed the front page, my OH stood there as he was doing it :). He also signs the warranty doc and adds something like Fleet salesman, or whatever, his title. The service book does NOT state the van has 3 years cover which will run from registration, not at all. It states our name, the date of purchase and the words "you have chosen the following warranty" which the salesman has completed as being 3 years or 100k.

In fact in the text of the handbook it also states, you will be covered by the warranty for 3 years (or 4 years .........) from the date of purchase.

    Ill update you on Monday.
