The emergency exit seats have more legroom if that helps??
If you get to the check in desk in plenty of time and get an early boarding number you'll have a choice of seats as its free seating. You never know how far you can fly, till you spread your wings.0 -

Thats usually true for the outbound flight but often its a free for all when the gate opens on the return flight.
We had a long weekend in Barcelona about 3 weeks ago & there was lots of annoyed customers when the gate was opened & it was first come first served.0 -
Yes I know what you mean. I have travelled with Easyjet loads of times and fortunately that has only happened to us once - funny enough, it was on a flight back from Barcelona - although I have heard other people complain of this too.
I have to say that it does annoy me as we deliberately get to the check in desk early so that we can have a choice. Usually the people waiting impatiently at the front of the boarding gate are the ones with the last boarding tickets - you'd think if they were that keen to get on first they would turn up to the airport earlier wouldn't you!You never know how far you can fly, till you spread your wings.0 -
easyJet aren't what you would call generous with their seats. So for a bit of elbow room your best hope is an aisle seat. Then you'll at least have a bit of space on one side of you. As advised try and be one of the first on, then get your seat and then look as grumpy as you can. If the flight isn't full people will avoid you. If boarding from the front and the back go to the back and get on there as people tend to deviate to the front door. Front boarders tend to sit in the front half of the plane. These are my observations anyway - it's ultimately a free for all specially when the plane is full.0

ON THE INSIDE!!!
sorryIf you look anything like your passport photo....Your too ill to travel0 -
Sheesh!
Firstly, where does it say you're entitled to a better seat by turning up earlier?
Secondly, "get your seat and then look as grumpy as you can" - some people need to sit back and listen to themselves - the selfishness is beyond belief!0 -
apart from the pilots seat all plane seats are bad.0

It's like those people on trains who always believe their briefcase/rucksack/shopping deserves a seat and you don't!WiseInvestor wrote:Sheesh!

I regularly fly with Easyjet and have never understood the rush at boarding, all the seats are rubbish, the flight will not leave without you if your not in the first ten people to board!
Worst place to sit?...next to the loos!0
