I know it's a democracy, but. . .

Dear Mr Stupid,
Ask not what your MP can do for you.
Ask what you can do for your MP.
Because it's your vote that will free her or him
from any sense of moral obligation towards
you or anyone else.
We live in a democracy, and if you don't do your duty by casting your vote, then that democracy is dead. Ask yourself this:
Do you REALLY want to live in a country where the people's elected representatives are forced to pay Capital Gains Tax?
Where they must meet the cost of their own dinner parties?
Where they must make do with only one home
and not even a 42" LCD TV?
And where they are unable to use taxpayers' money to keep themselves and their relatives in a style to which
you yourself will never be accustomed?
Of course you don't.
So please.
Be stupid.
Exercise your vote.
It's the only thing you've got and frankly, it's worth sod all to you so letting someone else put it to good use is the sensible, the patriotic, and the democratic thing to do.
Best wishes:
Issued on behalf of TRVHPPUK
(The Really Very Honest Political Party UK)
I've yet to receive an election message like this but if such ever came, the candour might be hard to resist. . .0 -
