Slow Cookers - recommendations please

Have been thinking of buying a s.c. but at a loss as to which one - all you o.s's seem to be firm converts to this way of cooking so recommendations please! There are 2 adults & 2 not quite adults in the family so it would have to accommodate us & maybe 1 or 2 extra on occasions. If there is already a thread covering this please direct me. Cheers.

I have got this one.
Works well for me and is big enough for two adults plus some. It is 3.5L. Easy to use. I managed to buy it when it was half price and with some nectar points so only cost me £6.50. And I use it 2/3 times a week for cooking meats for roast dinner. A rice pudding or two during the week and cooking gammons/bacon joints.
Will one day get around to making stews etc in it.
Husband is under strict order not to drop the lid or the crock :rotfl:
A lot of people on this forum have the Morphy Richards ones. But they have the big one which is 6.5L. Piccie here
