Every time I open a new tab on Internet Explorer it shows thumbnails of lots of sites I've been on. How do I stop this? In the right hand corner it says Google toolbar. Do I have to get rid of the Google toolbar to stop these coming up? I just find them annoying!

I think this is the Google Toolbar generating a 'Most Visited' new tab.
To disable - click on the Google toolbar's little 'wrench' (spanner) icon
.
On the search tab, deselect the 'Enable the Google new tab page' checkbox.
Click Save

You'd be better just uninstalling the toolbar in Control Panel if you don't like it or use it.Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0

You don't need the toolbar to do that: there's a search box in the upper right-hand corner which you can set to use a variety of search engines, including Google.I do like the toolbar because it saves me going to the website every time0
