Thanks, Doc
Anything you can find out would be GREAT :j
I thought the jobs were all on 18 month temporary contracts? Can't remember seeing one that said 3 years. Is yours 18 months then? When do you start?
Applied for a couple of vacancies in West & North Yorks, but the only send me the online tests for the EO positions and not the AO, so don't think I will get anywhere again. Think they just move people up from level 1 to the level 2's. dunno though, could be wrong - just strange I never get a response in respect of the AO applications
Applied for the South Yorks ones this week, with a closing date of the 22nd June, so will wait to see if I hear on those as well !
Gonna ring Newcastle now about these scores, cos I am confused seeing as people are telling me that the pass score is 20 ! Like you say, it must have changed.
Thanks again, Doc
PS: Dog fine now - bless him:T:T0 -
Hi my friend has done the band B on line test and passed and has also applied for a band C job is the on line test different or is it the same test does anyone know? Thanks.0

Hiya - hope dog has recovered!!!
Was just reading your other post about this.
Before they changed the competencies you had to get a 4 or above in all competencies and a 4 or above for 'communication' - total 20. However looks like this must have changed with the competenciesif you got a 24
Basically a 1-3 was unnacceptable
4-6 average score
7-9 exceptional
(or something like that)
You had to get at least a four in everything and then they based the merit list on whatever the overall scores were.
I'll try and find out what has changed for you tomorrow if you like?
On a diff note found out last thing Fri that the posts are prob only gonna be 18months now not 3 years as advertised so........................
That's helpful info.:idea:0 -
Heya - no start date yet even though we know that every one of us has been placed (they won't tell us where!!!)
Have enquired about the new interview scores. My manager was unaware that they had changed anything and he conducts interviews from time to time. I did have a look on the intranet and the only thing I could find was talking about changing the pass mark if they get too many applicants - don't see how this would be relevant as they still don't have enough people
Anyway good luck with the next round of interviews - I do hope you get something soon and they don't drag their heels with the results.
Make sure to keep me posted and if you need any help let me know0 -
Will do.
many thanks, Doc
