Hi
Did anyone sit the tests and have interview at Sheffield early in May for the EO vacancies? If so, has anyone heard back as yet. I know they said it would be 2 week, give or take a month, but just curious !!!

Hey I currently work for them as an AO an half my office attended the EO interviews!!
I called Newcastle yesterday to enquire about it and the lady I spoke to (the recruitment officer for this campaign) said there had been a major problem with the results and it could be another 2 weeks before we hear anything. Not best pleased but I guess at least we know there is a problem. Don't know why they can't email everyone and let them know there is going to be a delay though : (0 -
Think it must have been Capita that hashed up the results ! they were a nightmare. I was the first one in and they said they were using me as a guinea pig to see how they could speed up the process !!!
Ah well. Just have to wait. Not holding out much hope anyway, especially now I know half your office applied !!!!!
Just seen you on tv, with the Master !!!0 -
Lol I know when I got there they were playing rude word scrabble at the desk while signing people in!! I know a few people have made official complaints about the way things were handled but it doesnt speed up the results huh?
I wouldn't worry too much they are looking for a lot of staff at the moment and it is for different areas and offices so there should be plenty of opportunities.
Anyway I hope you get through and we all hear something soon0 -
Thanks. Just have to wait and see. It was my second interview, but they made me feel so uncomfortable think I might have made a mess of it again.0

I'm sure you've done better than you think - I don't think any of us felt it went too well as the whole thing was so disorganised
Fingers xd0 -
Ta, The Doctor. I will live in hope. Getting pretty fed up of searching for jobs. Never been out of a job before, and its driving me insane. Bloody recession. Thank goodness for insurance is all I can say !!0

Hiya was gonna post something tonite actually!! We have all been bugging the poor woman in charge of the campaign this week and in fairness she has been very polite and helpful to us all!!
She promises that the letters will be sent this week (although she didnt say what day!). Apparently a lot of the names that were returned to Newcastle had no pass or fail mark next to them and therefore have had to be returned to Capita to confirm if they were passes, fails or people who didn't attend!!
The entire thing has been a farce tbh but i guess we will at least find out pretty soon now. If I hear any more I will let you know.
Again good luck with it all and let me know how you get on :beer:0 -
Many thanks, Doc
Will let you know, and you let me know how you go on.
cheers again0 -
No probs - I'll let you know and if we don't hear soon I'll set the Cybermen on em!!!!!0
