Hello stranger!
I sell mostly 3 Tiers and I must say I use more Blankets than Towels.
Got a load of Towels in stock and was just wondering whether to just go with the Blankets after I have used these.
Hope you are doing well Bella, I have a peek at your website occasionally. Love your Baskets :T0 -
Hi all, thought I'd share some photos of my first attempt at some baby clothes bouquets
I have a little craft stall on Saturday and I'm hoping to try and sell them but have no idea what to price them at, does anyone have any suggestions? They're mostly 3 vests and some scratch mittens, the bigger ones have bootees and a sleepsuit too, plus there's a small accessories one. I used some iron-on lining stuff from Boyes to wrap them in, it's thicker and eaier to use than tissue paper and doesn't rip, plus it was only 70p per metre so cheap tooThen I wrapped a layer of coloured netting over the top to prettify, yellow or pink and that was £1.35 per metre but does loads of bouquets. For the leaves I cut some leaf shapes from dark green felt.
D'you know, in 900 years of space and time, I've never met anyone who wasn't importantTaste The Rainbow :heartsmil0 -
Please could you tell me where you order your boxes from? I make nappy cakes and various other bits and bobs and just know what to do regarding box sizes..I have only had a few postal orders and resort to recycling boxes from supermarkets and cutting them to fit if they are big/small items I am posting. I don't want to commit to bulk buying boxes if I haven't got regular orders.
Many thanks!0 -

Hi
I am just in the process of sourcing another company to do my boxes as the last company no longer do the white cardboard and have to order it in specially so as a consequence the price has shot up, I only paid a £1 each for my last ones (3 tier cake size) I will let you know as soon as I hear back from the company I have found, think the boxes are going to be around the £1.30 mark though, which is still quite good to be honest.

Hi
I order in packs of 50 at the moment, simply because I work from home and I just do not have the space available to store them plus I get down them pretty quickly, then I just order more, fortunately a lot of my stuff I buy up in Bradford which is not too far away so I wait until I need more boxes etc then combine it with a trip up to the warehouse, as I usually need more bears etc so it works out cheaper even though I have to put diesel in the car, still works out better than paying shipping to the different companies I buy from.... simples!!! lol

Hiya folks,
It is my SIL's baby shower on Saturday and having seen your lovely work I wondered if it is something that someone who is a crafting beginner could do with not too many problems and if so where do I start? Is there any simple step by step tutorials/blogs I could follow?
Many thanksBSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -

Thanks for the encouragement
I did look at You Tube but it did come up with Diaper Cakes when I put in Nappy Cake and I must admit that put me off but I will try again.BSCno.87The only stupid question is an unasked oneLoving life as a Kernow Hippy0 -

Wow, you must be doing really well with postal orders then; I have been trading for a year and only posted a handful of orders really. I used to buy in products ready for nappy cakes and actually still have a lot of supplies sitting there waiting! So now I go out and buy most things as and when needed as I'm not getting regular orders each week. My orders come in like buses..all at the same time!
I went to a craft fayre at the weekend as a stall holder and there were 2 other stalls selling the same type of gifts as me, gutted! Plus one was in the same room as me, horrible to see people browse my range then go over to theirs and buy off themHave done 3 fairs now and think I'm going to give up on them, never seem to make any money at them even though I pass flyers no orders come of it either.
