I made something similar last year, though with a straw, and called them 'Bathtime Cocktails' - they didn't sell very well though!

I have been asked to make a white/grey/silver nappy cake for someone. I have seen plenty white/grey clothes but I am struggling to get a nice blanket and toy for the top. Has anyone seen any white blankets or toys anywhere?

I am not sure the price she wants to pay yet but I am looking at around twenty five to thirty pounds.

Just a thought but you could always use white Muslin squares and roll the blanket up for the middle then once rolled you can arrange the nappys around it, not sure about the white toy though, cute little guy on Ebay at moment, too big for a 3 tier but would look great on a single or 2 tier, it is item number 220888627646, alternatively Marks & Spencers have some white soft baby toys in and so does Mothercare, might be a bit pricey though, and you should be charging more than £25/£30 for a nappy cake that is 2 or 3 tiers........

My local Tesco has lovely white baby blankets (in the clearance sale) for £3.75 they have a cluster of silver stars stitched on the corner....I didn't buy any but was thinking they would be lovely for a christening cake!
