Hello Everyone
Never having made a cake before, but really keen to try one, I was wondering what you use for the inside of the Pamper cakes? I know it's nappies that are used for the baby cakes etc, but what goes inside the wedding towel cakes and the Mum's Pamper cakes??
Thanks
Sal

There is talk on another forum about trading standards are telling people that they can no longer sell products that look like food in any way. Lots of people who sell soaps have been told so it may be nappy cake makers next so if you hear of anything you will have to let us al know
P.S not sure how true it is yet or even if it is trueI Love My Computer Because My Friends Live In It0 -

Can't see this myself, there would be things in papers or such like ... as it stands companys like lush do soaps which look like food and bathbombs too, and Nappy cakes hardly look like real food!!!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -

Yes i have sold some of them
do you have a photo of yours
Do you mind me asking how much you charge for yours? Im trying to do some lower priced gifts but not finding it easy
on a different subject ive done a wedding cake and used a big bride and groom cake topper, im pleased with how it looks but its cost me £45 to make (without any profit), the statue alone was £8.99 and i would love to source some cheeper. Can anyone point me in the right direction please? I looked at ebay but because i might need a few i would rather have 1 design and not have to pay postage ontop of each one.
Julie- thanks also for posting that info about thiings that seem like food. I can see their point to a degree and obviously child saftey is very important, but.. (although saying that i had an adult friend who couldnt resist tasting lush products to see if they taste like they smell!)Best wins in 2013 £200 and Mini iPad. 2014 no wins. 2015 2 nights 5* hotel with £300 vouchers plus £1150 Harrods gift card
