Hi all
I was just wondering about attaching the ribbon embellishment to the top of the baby !!!! cupcake? Is it best to use a glue dot? Or do you guys use flowers with stems on and insert the stems into the sock?
Many thanks, Debbie x£11,000 in 2011

I tend to use flower with a wire stem, i cut it short-ish fold in half & poke it in the centre.

Nope, nope! Please don't let yourself be put off by one person's negative comments. The fact of the matter is that these items do sell!! Look at the website Bouquet Bouquet for starters.
Of course, the items are not going to appeal for everyone, but they do sell, and if you have a talent to make them, then go for it!
All the best, Debbie xx£11,000 in 2011

Just thought i would post some pics of cakes that i made up from recent orders.
Cake for twin boys, i was asked for the same but different as they are non-identical.
A christening cake using 6-9 months clothes and a mix of size 3 & 4 nappies.
A bathtime cake using size 4 nappies.

Lovely pictures, been reading all though the thread today and everyone is doing a great job.
can i ask a sillyish question, do you have to make the cakes out of nappies? i know its called nappy cake but can you just make it out of baby stuff like the towels and bibs? Just i want to make one for someone for xmas and never done it before and really dont have a clue what nappy brand they use. Dont want to make one out of one they have no intention of using.0
