Stacylou.. Lovely cakes.. I am a newbie too, how do you make the lolly things in the third picture?? Is the stick/ spoon wrapped in the face cloth or just placed behind?? Thanks so much x
hiya. i made them with lolly stick's that i got from ebay and face cloths that i got from my local pound shop for 5, i put the stick's behind the cloth but stick it into place with double sided sticky tape0 -
staceylou - are they adult size face cloths? Sorry to be dim lol I use the baby ones from £land I think there are 8 in the pack but I use 2 per lolly with a weaning spoon or fork. I use the adult sized flannels with a normal stick as gifts for adults when I do fairs. just another spin on it - I hate making htem though as I can never seem to get it looking neat!0

lol.. yeah i use the adult size ones as i find the baby ones too small, i sometime's use the spoons but found it more cost effective to use the sticks as i paid a couple of £ for 100 of them on ebay x0 -
Is it just normal ice lolly sticks you use?? I will have to have a go at them x

well the joys of packing a personalised cake, I had a family order for a personalised cake, First problem, you cant put personalised ribbon anywhere round the layer with the personalised hooded towel as it covers up too much of the name so I had to ribbon behind the hood thats fine to hold it but a whole layer where the personalised ribbon couldnt be used.
They also wanted a personalised taggie now that caused real problens because again wherever it went I couldnt so the ribbon, so I ended up opting to attach that to the back of the teddy box, lol why do I offer to do these things the whole idea of all the personalised items was so I could get a great pic of a personalised cake now some of it you cant even see, they are well happy with their cake I just dont have the pic I worked so hard to get!0
