I got some florist ribbon and pull bows and got baby pink, baby blue and cream.. I thought I could oreder different colours at a later date.

I have just done my mum a hamper for mothers day and have used a cream pull bow with cream and pink curling ribbon and it looks nice

    Hope that helps xx

    Hi,

I recently ordered some pull bows went for baby pink, light blue, eggshell (cream) & white. Although i like the light blue i think the babyblue would look better on some of the cakes. I went for white cos it can be use with most colour cakes, as i sometimes do bright colour cakes or could be used on pink & blue cakes if you run low.

for Pull bows, I ordered Baby Pink, Baby Blue, Lemon and Pearl White. I don't use many blues, hardly any lemon but the Pearl White is great for both white and cream cakes but they have stopped stocking it.

Another colour florist ribbon I have used lots of (and they are not stocking anymore, arghhh!) is Vanilla. I loved it - was a creamy colour but with a slight yellowy tinge.

    Hi Everyone,

I personally think that if you are taking orders off of people that you don't really know then it would be best to take the money or at least a deposit for the order before you send the cake to them. Probably be best to set up a paypal account and have them pay through that so that you can accept credit/debit cards.

Hope this helps! Just think of ebay, you buy before you receive!

    Speak soon everyone!

The annoying thing is I do now her. She's my best friends best friend, if this makes sense. Lol. So I have all her contact details for her and would consider her a mate, but annoyingly she lives too far for me to travel and best mate (who is the only person i know who knows her more than i do) is out of the country for a while!

Just one of those annoying things, grrrr.

  • Hi all,

I've been following this thread and have to say all your nappy cakes are fab:T:T

I'm always doing craft related hobbies and decided i'd like to give this a try, My only problem is when i decide to do something i need to do it now:rotfl::rotfl:.

So i trotted off to home bargains yesterday to pick up what supplies i could and thought i'd have a go.
I'd love some feedback on it good and bad.
I'm going to try and post a pic of it, so hope it works.:rotfl::rotfl:
