hi I posted a pic on here a little while ago of a cake I made, but wasn't entirely 100% happy with, so I remade it

OMG i dont know what to say i had someone buy some of my bits off me the other day and i thought it odd just how much they wanted. I needed to give a small refund on the P&P and found that they also make nappy cakes. I have just looked on there web site and there selling my stuff on there as there own

Thats awful!!! How could someone do that!?! Have they just stuck your stuff on there? When I make mine I take pride in doing them and love making them. I don't know how someone could simply pass it off as their own. I guess a lot of ideas are similar but honestly... some people!

Lol i dont know what to say yes your right we all do stuff that is similar and if she had got it to copy then ok but to put it on her website as her own well im just shocked she must be making more the same so why not make the same and take photos of that

can I ask anyone at all how do you put pics on here?

And also wanted to ask if you are supposed to leave tags on soft toys when putting them on a cake? WOuld it be ok to remove them but include them inside the cake do you think?

I have just done a tiny bit of digging also and if i have the right person although i can't find her website i can see that she has bought an awful lot of baby related things and i know a lot of us do this business now and have the same type of gifts, but to purchase your item giggle not only sell on but then to copy is an outrage. A lot of the items she has bought are items that you make or put in gifts. The gift for a man for example. Hasn't this happened before to you or someone on here from the first nappy cake thread where thay asked to buy an item so they could do it and see how you had made it?

I did ask once lol but not to see how the gift was made it was to see how to wrap it lol so i cant talk i know she is going to copy which i cant stop so why didnt she just copy them and take photos of her own stuff once made and use them as her photos i e her own tags on them oh well i have been looking into copy right i just need to pull my finger out and get it sorted
