  • Wish we had Home Bargains here!!!!
Have to travel an hour to the nearest Poundland as well!
Got a bath time cake made at lunch whilst baby was asleep. Got to get on with some Pamper Hampers now. Got the towel bales from Plumbworld a while ago. Also got loads of really lovely smelly stuff and some fab fake flowers that I pick up from bootfairs recently. People were selling on their gifts in full baskets for 50P!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:j:j:j:j Brought every one that I saw. :DAm quickly running out of storage space.
  • I spent 4 hours looking for christmas stuff but not one item could I get for nappy cakes. I did get scented candle for 50p each which I thought was quite good. All I have to do is think of someway to use them.

For all you girls looking for Xmas stuff - I got some lovely things from Next Clearance today. It's only a small shop and there wasn't any in there last week so it might be worth a look.
I got a couple of cream furry reindeer hats, raindeer bootees, xmas bibs and a couple of gorgeous embroidered sleepsuits. All half price!
  • Just been to Tescos to buy some stuff and noticed in their Christmas gifts aisle that they had sock cupcakes for sale for £4. Pesky Tescos, why do they have to monopolise on everything?
    £11,000 in 2011

  • hiya ladies,

i was in asda today and now that their baby event has ended they are selling off their stock at reduced prices. i got 2 pack of tommee tippee soothers for 50p there were box loads of these left on the shelves, tommee tippee bottles for 50p, tommee tippee training cups at 50p, tommee tippee weaning spoons at 50p a pack of 4 they also had (which is no use for cakes lol) buggies at £15, stair gates at £7.50, high chairs at £12.50, bumbo type seats at £10, car seats at £12.50 too

i picked up in the bedding aisle pink fleece blankets at £1, all they had was cardboard sleeve round them saying asda pink fleece pram blanket with the bar code never seen them before and there were no other colours there except pink (no space for any other colours or price labels to indicate there had been anyother colours)

thought that might help someone also huggies nappies were reduced to £8 for a box of 103 (i think it was 103 def not less than that and not the 140 boxes either) size 3's - i only ever check the huggies as they are what i use but there were pallets of pampers except i never looked at the prices.

  • Wow angelkay!!! Asda certainly have some bargains! I got about 16 of the £1 blankets as I use them alot and they had them in cream, pink and blue in our nearest Asda (45 min drive away).
Unfortunately I have totally run out of money at the mo as I went a bit mad last time I was in Eastbourne (nearest asada, matalan, big tesco, poundland et c). So have to wait till 15 of Oct to buy anything!!!!!!!!!! Poor sons enjoying lots of valuable time at home doing leaf rubbings for xmas cards to pass time!!!
