Hi Angel kay
Those teddies are from candi gifts (well they sell them) I can't remember how much they are but think they are ok to use?! Have a look at the site it might be cheaper to get them from your florist as you won't have to pay p+p then. HTH
afternoon ladies.
i'm after some advice - I have just came back from the florists where shes bought the 3 x2tier cakes i took down (the ones with the photo frame teddies). while i was there i said that i was struggling to get teddies the right size which are baby safe for the 3 tiers and she's given me the chance to order the teddies in the pic above for £1.59 + vat so £1.82 a teddy they are 8 inch and have baby boy and baby girl written on their paws do you think this is a good price? i have never looked into these kinds of toys with the embroidered messages etc so i have no idea if its good or not and not being very clued un on sizes would 8" still be too big? I don't have any smaller teddies left that i could measure... they do have a 6" brown bear which is 89p so £1.03 when i add on vat but it doesn't say whether its baby safe.
what would you guys do?
thanks in advance
kProud mummy to 3 beautiful boys!

I'd say go for it. Saves shopping around for decent teddies, especially when they keep discontinuing the ones we like.

Hiya,
yeh they are the ones i use- have a look on my site at the 3 tiers to get an idea of the size. They are super soft and v cute and a fab price and yes I have also seen them being sold for a lot more. However, I am just getting through my last bag of 5 and am now going to use different toys as to be honest when people have the choice they sometimes ask for the teddy tumpties I have on my neutral cakes rather than these teddies. Some people do prefer my other toys and I think it may even put people off buying my pink and blue cakes. I sell LOADS of neutral cakes even if they are being sent for boys and girls. So I have decided to search around for other styles now. I wish they had done the teddy tumpties in pink and blue! Anyway, this is just the experience I have had - I do still sell a lot of pink and blue cakes with these teddies so I'm sure you will sell your fab cakes with them too.
