Am I missing something here? Signed up for the free trial for creditexpert, and got the PIN number in today. Signed in, and when I click on 'obtain report' it goes to the page with my credit card details and says I can add a score for £4.99 but does NOT tell me how much I will be charged to see the report??
Personally, I think the site is designed this way but surely that is immoral, and the very nature of the site is most likely you are looking at your report cos you may have been careless with money in the past, yet they want you to pay for something without telling you the price?!
Does anyone know what it will charge me? Ive ordered the £2 report anyway, so will wait and see that if it means I am not charged a silly amount, certainly not paying the £49 for a year! The site sounded good at first, but it just looks like a way to rip people off.

You will not be charged anything for viewing your credit file as many times as you wish for 30 days. If you do not cancel before the 30 days is up you will be charged 49.99 and will then be able to use the service for 12 Months. When logged on to creditexpert the screen just before you get your report clearly shows the cost as £0.0 . If you wish to see the Experian credit score they will charge you £4.99 . I personally do not think the credit score is of much use because individual lenders have their own credit scoring criteria which will be diferent to that used by Experian.Charles J0
