Orange
I've just agreed a new 18 month contract and upgrade with Orange for £10 per month as I was not using my phone very much. (previous contract £15)
My first bill arrived showing £15 per month. I called to query and was told by customer service that I had agreed the £15 contract and was committed to pay this sum over 18 months. This is total rubbish as the only reason I stayed with them was I was offered a £10 contract elsewhere and Orange matched it over the phone. It is impossible to get an answer from customer services, they simply say the notes refer to an agreed contract at £15 per month. I have been conned over the phone!
They are now insisting I pay the full contract amount, any advice anyone!

Speak to a supervisor and ask them to play back the recordings of the call. This will clarify exactly what was said.Gone ... or have I?0

I would phone them back and speak to a supervisor, ensuring you get their details, then ask them to find the recording of the call that was made. Give them the date / time of the call and ask them to provide you with a transcript of the call as this will prove that you agreed a £10 per month deal.
If you don't get anywhere you could try e-mailing the executive office (i believe the e-mail below is correct). I've always found them very helpful. Just keep pestering them.

Edit: DMG24 got there just before me...0
