OOOh eerrr I'm late! Sorry Mrs M i hadn't realised we were on June yet £340 for me please.I havn't tallied up yet but I know I'm under and probably caught up with my overspend last month too:T.Mrs M can I ask what is gryos meat and do you pick that up in Lidll? It sort of sounds like kebab meat sliver type thingies, which sounds quite appealing.."Sometimes life sucks....but the alternative is unacceptable."0

Ooh a shiny new thread! Well not going so good- a week into my June budget and have spent £73.85 of my £160 budget. That does include a big online shop though, so not all bad! Going to do some batch cooking in a minute too which will give some quick and easy meals for the rest of the month.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0

Hi, after failing miserably each time I try this challenge
I am back for another try
Cupboards stocked and freezer bar any meat. Have looked at many frugal recipes to produce large numbers of meals from meat to freeze which will be doing to frugalize the meat purchases a bit. This is the area I need to cut back on the most after spending about £150-200 a month. Aiming for £20 a week tops this month
I put my budget at £80 for 27/5 - 26/6

hi can you put me down for £210 for 2 adults 2 kids, toiletries, cleaning stuff and pet food for quite a few of pets. Though its a long month for me because mine starts today and ends on the 31'st of June.
I have spent £98.69 already but that has bought all the meat, fish and store cupboard stuff and most of the veg.
I think i picked the wrong day to batch cook it's really warm here but so far i have done,
10 x chicken stew
10 x lamb stew
6 x lamb spag bol
10 x beef and veg spag bol
8 x squash soup
8 x carrot and coriander soup
4 x liver and onions
I think tomorrow may be a naan bread making day, noticed earlier someone mentioning hm tortilla wraps must go and have a look how you make them too!
good luck for June everyone and thanks for having me.
