hi everyone i would just like to say i am gutted i saw this job advertised in my local paper on the 22nd of july and applied by ringing the number in the advert i got a text yesterday from them to ring this number i stupidly believed it would be a local rate call. They advised me to send my cv to there email address i stupidly did this this morning and after i sent it it started to dawn on me it could be a scam so i put the company name in google and it just came up with random jobsites advertising there advert. And after that i put the number in i was told to call and it came up with this thread. so i have reported it to the local paper they are going to investigate im also reporting it to my local trading standards. i have 2 minds to report it to watchdog as well as my local mp. im desperately seeking a new job and i got sucked in. im in hertfordshire.0

I have spoken to this Company and I have an interview with them next week.
I have already visited their Office in London and it looks new.
I can tell you these are not a scam & they have never asked me for any money at all.
I have checked with BT the 0844 is charged at 5p per minute during the day & 2p after 6pm & at weekends.
So if you have been asked to contact them I would go for this Job. This is definately NOT a scam.0 -
Have a read of Joan35's over posts, you might notice a connection to the company...

Although the phoneline wasnt premium i noticed while i was on that all the ads had been pulled from the Reed website so i just hung up. A week or so later they e-mailed me at a really random time so i thought i'd give them another ring and this time was number one in the queue so i waited and some bloke answered and told me 'Kevin' was in a meeting and that i should goto the website etc. etc. as others on this thread were told. He did say that they have some office jobs in some places but if not they have home work!! Yeah right!! As soon as i saw about paying them i left the site. What worries me though is how i was 24 in the queue that day, odds are that a few of them at least will have fallen for it
I have spoken to KC Computer Services about the que & they have said they had to put the que on because it would be engaged all the time and people would think there was a fault on the line.
The 0844 number is a local call rate and you are charged 5p a minute during the day & 2p a minute after 6pm weekdays and 2p a minute all day at weekends (checked with BT).
Also I have said in my last reply they are an legitimate company and they have been checked out by all authorities abd have been accepted.
When you get on Nethomeworkers if the office positions have gone the fee you pay is for the training package (as you will be self-employed) & you get this straight back from their 2 Financial Clients (which I did).
You can do the work while you are waiting to go into the office positions if they have gone. I am earning approx £300 per week0 -

Also I have spoken to Ian Johnson @ nethomeworkers and he has said that he has contacted Martin & the abuse team to take this posting down as this is slandering his Company.
If there is anymore slander against his Company he will be taking all of you who have slandered his name & Martin's Company to court.0 -
Ian / Joan35 are you away that since your last scam that a new law has been brought in, it is now illegal for a business or their associates to post on websites to miss lead the public that you are not connected to the company and post praise for your own or associates company.

I work at a job board and DH Data are definitely a scam.
Derek Hill is another contact name there (Hence DH Data)
They will not be charging you via the 0844 number, but thru accessing your details on the CVs you send in.0 -
How much damage can they do with your CV details, which does include name and address?0

I feel sick as a dog now after reading this. I was also contacted and was told I was very lucky and have been shortlisted from thousands, down to 50 candidates and would be potentially starting in a few weeks.. A few weeks came and went and i heard nothing, so I rang them again on the phone number given in the text message and they said sorry the positions were filled, but we might have something at the end of september and will keep my details.
Its really worrying me though now if they can use my details from my CV for something dodgy.0
