Refurb Blackberry Bold help
Hi, just wondering can any one shed some light on this situation, received a refurb BB bold yesterday from o2, absolutely love the phone apart from that it keeps dropping the phone signal without me knowing which means when i come to use it to make phone calls it won't call out and also cannot receive out-going calls too.
I know that o2 signal is fine as i never had any trouble with my previous phone, so does it sound like i have a faulty phone?

Ok, im convinced i have a faulty phone so o2 are replacing the handset on Monday. Next question is how do i remove the stuff i have downloaded on it ie msn, facebook etc? Can't find a system restore button anywhere.
Thanks0 -
Hi,
How old is your sim card?
The bb bold HAS to have a 3g sim card it is not compatible with 2g sim card.
call o2 they can check your sim card for you, if the swap n drop is happening on monday it will be too late to stop it now as order would have been processed but call them or go into o2 store and ask for new 3g sim let them know you are contract customer. call o2 to activate dial 2020 -

Thanks
Here you go.:)
1st...click on the options icon.
then
2nd...scroll down to security options click on that.
then
3rd...this will then highlight general settings click on that.
then
4th...press the blackberry button to the left of the scroll/track ball.
then
5th...this will bring up another screen and the 3rd option down called wipe handheld will restore your blackberry to how it was delivered to you.
Hope this helps.:).0 -
