Only time will tell whether you made the right decision. Dirty tricks are to be expected in any market, only now the tables have turned in favor of the buyer. They were plenty of sellers increasing prices upon completion on the way up.
You may find you can't find a buyer that will be willing to pay just 4% of asking, and your flat could be hanging around in a rapidly depreciating market.
Or you might find a cash buyer next week fooled into believing the false bottom, and willing to pay close to asking.0
