Currently work in Finance at a GP surgery.

1. work at my local council as a plumber - last year of apprenticeship - earn £14.5k a year - 37.5 hours
perks - love it, work only half them hours, scrap, free bits and bobs for plumbing
cons - would like more money!
2. work on the doors - £10 per hour, 20-25 hours a week
perks - good crack with customers, many females, stops me from spending on a weekend, fights when i can be arsed

24 yrs. Aircraft Tech. £29k p.a + bonuses + retention bonus £15k + long contract + subsidised housing and bills + dental + medical bills paid + 7 weeks hols + free gym + education allowences + travel to work costs paid + interest free loan for deposit on first house.
Some of the lads I work with earn the same as I do and are only 19 and have no qualifications! makes me sick.0 -
