can anyone comment on the paper used by these sites. and also do any of the prints that you recieve have any markings on them.. i know bonusprint does, as the back has your username etc on..
im after some prints but its important that they dont have any markings on them, or just minumal ones, eg the name of the paper..
can any users of the services comment??
thanks0 -
Thanks for the info o n photo print sites, but was surprised that Aldi's wasn't there, http://www.aldiphotos.co.uk/
I use them all the time as they are so much cheaper than anybody else and the quality is very good0 -
Marky mouse, the object was to enlighten us regarding FREE printing/developing with minimum postage.
Those I ordered on 30th (30 X 6x4) arrived today. Snapfish had sent me an email telling me they were ready within hours and would be sent 1st class.
I now intend trying some of the other sites mentioned in Martin's email from last week. Just in case anyone is wary of giving out bank account details to these companies after all, it would be awful if for the sake of saving a few £'s your card was misused, would it not be an idea to open an account with only a £50 or so in it, to use when paying for anything on-line and keep it topped up to that amount?.This is a system account and does not represent a real person. Apologies to all - I haven't had the time to keep things updated regularly, but I see Martin & his team have been kind enough to update & add+remove* to the main post from time to time in my absence.
Hopefully I shall be back to keep it updated on a regular basis soon, while trying not to mess with their 'official' inserts, G

What would also be useful is a comparison table of "standard " prices e.g. for 10 prints, 100 prints and 250 prints, plus postage.illegitimi non carborundum0

now that would be great, but we couldn't expect Martin to do that, it would be down to one of us to specialise in this surely?.
Something I did notice, having selected a cross section of pics held on my computer, is that two were cameraphone pics and they showed a noticable camera-shake. This was the first time I had a print of a camera-phone pic. Has anyone else noticed this?. I am aware that some cameraphones now have an anti shake feature inbuilt. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. No I agree, it needs a volunteer, probably someone who knows a bit about this area, to put it together, and start a new thread. It could be updated with offers eg when Tesco went down to 2p a print last year.
Any takers?illegitimi non carborundum0 -
