Hi,

I have about 500 photos I need to develop and was hoping someone might be able to tell me the cheapest way of getting them done (6x4 is ok).

Cheers.

Go to the first page in this thread, GoofyGat has explained all in a really simple way.

PhotoBox method should cost around £13.50 delivered.:j
Snapfish could be FREE if you can pick up from Jessops.:j

Both may require signing up for multple email addresses, I used googlemail.com, and put a number after each new email address, e.g. abc1@googlemail.com, abc2@googlemail.com, etc. Its very quick to do, and FREE!
And if you refer each of your other email addresses you can get 30 free prints for that, so building up more free photos.

E.g. abc1 refers abc2, abc3, abc4 etc, each gets 30 free prints, 120 total.
As 2,3 and 4 buy their free photos first, 1 gets 30 free photos from each of the referals. This gives you another 90, making 210 in total, all for £6 p+p, = 5p per photo. And you can do this for 500 or 1000 photos, just use more email addresses.

9 email addresses will give you 510 photos (8 x £1.50 + 1 x £1.99 = £13.99), 2.74p per photo.
17 email addresses will give you 990 photos (16 x £1.50 + 1 x £1.99/£2.99 = £25.99/£26.99), 2.62/2.72p per photo.

The postage goes up from £1.50 per order to £1.99 if the weight is over 500g, and up to £2.99 for 1kg+, but I don't know how many photos this would be, but a rough guess is 100 - 150 photos would be about 500g.

I've only used Photobox so far, and I'm really pleased with the results.
GoofyGat says you can do the same with Snapfish but with free postage (so making it all free!), but I've not tried them so I can't give you an opinion.

GoofyGat has explained it all in a really simple fashion on the first page.
Thanks again to GoofyGat:T

Does it matter how many I upload in the begining & has anyone else had the same problem?

I had the same thing happen to me, so contacted Snapfish who said that they no longer offer the standard service for collection from a Jessops store. The only service which can be collected from Jessops is the express 1-hour service at 16p a print, for which you can't use the free print credits. If you want to use the free print credits you will need to have it delivered to your home at a cost of 99p per delivery.

List updated today.

I've retained some offers that may have expired on 01.01.08, as they may still be valid. G
• Hi

Just a quicky to the OP - to clarify - Truprint aren't a part of Snapfish - we have our website powered by them, but our offers are different.

Going to read through the above comments asap today and get back to people who had any probs joining Truprint - if you are stuck then if you message me I'll do my best to help.

T_C - it appears to me that if youve already had a offer from one "Snapfish powered website" company, you cant take up another offer from another "Snapfish powered" company. Is that correct?

I cant remember whether Ive already taken up a Truprint offer, or someone elses and had my Truprint offer rejected.

• thank you for a really usefull post . I use Aldi photoservice on www.aldiphotos.co.uk, excellent quality, very fast delivery (next day in most cases) .I have tried quite a few other sites and this is in my view the best overall. One slight downer, it does take a long time to down load images so
keep them small( jpegs). B.M.
