all theyve done is copy what we already have, nothing new. come on hyundai and kia, innovation is what we need to make us buy your stuff.
Obviously all of those people buying Hyundai's don't agree, they obviously want a well specced, reliable car, for a sensible price with a good warranty, perhaps it is the others that should follow suit.;)0 -
It's simple; no other price compares with it apart from the Chevy matiz. It's not possible to match the price unless you are prepared to have a three cylinder engine.0

The very same people would have rushed out to buy a Lada when they came onto the market :rolleyes:Obviously all of those people buying Hyundai's don't agree, they obviously want a well specced, reliable car, for a sensible price with a good warranty, perhaps it is the others that should follow suit.;)

I havent got a Hyundai but what is wrong with them?
They are cheap and reliable (with a long warranty) what is everyones problem with them it cant just be looks as you can always look the other way.0 -
list price of a brand new Vauxhall Corsa is £10000, that is for a 1.0 and seeing as I have driven the 1.2 which has to be pushed up hills and is in serious lack of any power the 1.0 must be bloody dreadful. You would have to be a right plonker to actually pay that for it.
For 10000 you can get a 1.4 Hyundai I20. I know which one I would rather spend my money on.
As long as it is cheap and reliable I couldn't give a toss what the brand name on the front is.
Wouldn't buy a French car to save my life. My brother had a 5 year old Peugeot once and what a stinking pile of crap that was. It was so rubbish he upgraded to a Vauxhall Vectra.Iva started Dec 2018.0 -

I doubt that very much, they didn'/t have 5 or 7 year warranties.
The whole point about Kias, Hyundais etc is that they may not be exciting but they're reliable, cheap transport and they have long warranites so you get peace of mind. It's my problem, it's my problem
If I feel the need to hide
And it's my problem if I have no friends
And feel I want to die0 -

Or possibly a Skoda.. :rotfl:
( Sorry, I couldn't resist )..

Seriously, there is nothing wrong with Hyundai's / Kia's, there are far better built than most GM/Ford/French and some German cars, and cost a lot less.0 -

And who pays full list price for any car unless it's a bit rare?
£10,000 would get you something better than a corsa in the real world....work permit granted!0 -
The Hyundai I20, or the Kia Ceed also have a list price starting at about 9k on the road, with real pricing being lower.
I've nothing against Vauxhal's as I learned to drive in a Corsa, had a Diesel Corsa for 3 years (great car for economy and torque, but very cramped), then an Astra Estate, then a Zafira, but pound for pound the likes of the Kia's and Hyundai's beat them these days if you just want a car of a certain size with a good warranty/no worries.0
