Hi - I am doing one of the following (unless someone has any ideas) - but which? Could you let me have your opinions please? I have checked Parkers and HonestJohn and Whatcar, and the Fox hasn't come out terribly well (plus it's the only one of the following which is above £35 road tax, and above cat. 1 Insurance). These are all including the scrappage:
Hyundai 1.2 i10 cost £5550 (I'd put in reverse parking sensor for £200 and have metallic). £35 tax and lowest insurance
Fox Urban top of the range (?) 1.4 inc metallic R6265 but £120 tax and more exp. ins.
Toyota Aygo Blue (it's a special) 5 dr £6773
Toyota Yaris T2 1.0 3dr £6549 metallic.
Thanks in advance!
Jen

I don't think you would go wrong with the Hyundia i10. Considering the i20 as a second car for the family.Mortgage free

Thanks, sheslookinhot! The i20 is out because it's £120 road tax and a higher insurance bracket. But the i10 would suit me fine.
I've ruled out the Aygo because of the tiny boot, that is something that would affect me.
Thanks for your reply.

Yes, I'd read this thread, and got frightened again - especially by this post:

What I'm pretty much after is a reliable motorised shopping trolley - the 13 year old Micra suited me fine but is now costly with MOTs and having to get it stuck back together each MOT/ Service.
By the way - if I had the money I would be buying some fabulous motor car, I'm not buying the cheapest car possible because I want to, but whatever I spend on the car, means less for me to get a new house with!
Out of all of the super-minis, which would be your recommendation? I have about £6000 to £7000 to spend.
Grateful for your opinion.
Many thanks

For me that's the stand-out deal here.
Where are you getting it from at that price?0 -

Yes if you can afford the Yaris, get it. Sadly it was a little bit too much for me.0

Either the Yaris or the i10 will serve you well, I would go for the i10 personally, but the Yaris is a good car.0

Aygo's have a price rise within the week..around £200 on each, and Fox..unless you can find some stock, are on 22 week leadtimes...that may help influence your decision!“Official Company Representative
