Yes, it's kind of a wet room but although the bathroom will be waterproof the water will just get everywhere without screens!

So far we're looking at £500 plus for these 2 bits of glass. An enclosure would be cheaper!!!

Love the shower in garage idea!! hehe

Have you thought of a walk in shower? I've just plumbed one in my garage (I know!!) for when I get back from biking - its great I even throw the bike in at the same time!!! all you need to do is buy a sheet of glass and bit of pipe work, some PVC wall panels and you're away.

Love it that much I'm going to put one in the house this time :)

To do it correctly takes more work than that

Drainage needs to be sorted,Pre-formed tray/former needed to give a correct fall to drain, In a garage being of a concrete floor then approx 2"needs to be cut out,not allowing for the drain and trap

Glass needs to be securely fixed and needs to be safety glass

Walls and floor need to be tanked to keep the water from damaging the fabric of the building

Andy, I'm fully aware of what needs to be done as I'm a time served plumber - I think you took my comments too literally, It was more of a throw away comment to be honest. Personally I’m actually that impressed with my DIY/Bespoke wet room in the garage I’m thinking of getting rid of my framed enclosure and tray.

This was exactly my question I was going to post so replies already have been very useful! I have spent ages trawing net for ideas and prices - does anyone have any thoughts on Kudos enclosures?

    Many thanks in advance

I’ve just re read the post and that price for glass is steep, as I said in my post above I'm a time served plumber but now run my own business also a bit of a small time property developer (which is what I really want to do).

I have a trade account with an online company that offer better priced glass panels than the ones you have found

    Glass Panel 800mm - Price: £149
    Glass Panel 900mm - Price: £159
    Glass Panel 1000mm - Price: £179
    Glass Panel 1200mm - Price: £199

    All 80mm safety glass

If you’re interested just post back on here and I can get you the details of where to get them from.

    Hi CJohns,

I am just waiting for a quote from PreedyGlass who I am hoping will be a bit more reasonable.

Looking for 900mm glass panel which will be fixed then another 900mm panel fixed or something like a 300mm fixed panel and 600mm hinged off that.

Obviously we need to buy fixing etc but happy fitting ourselves.

Details of where to buy would be ace :) Many thanks in advance.
