are you still waiting for w800i from e2save?

i ordered the w800i clearance with e2save and still waiting for it. looking at the "tracker order" on their website, my order is still there with the status "awaiting stock". the thing is, if e2save is not going to fulfill the order, why dont they just cancel it?

is anyone else in the same boat as me???

I was waiting too. Sent them an email to ask what the delay was.
Got the reply Oranage no longer doing that tarriff and they could not fulfill the order. Didnt offer me the phone on another tarriff however. Not at all happy with this and others have said the same has happened to them.
I also notice onestopponeshop offering this tarriff however on the 750i, grrrrr cos they the same group.

I emailed them 2 days ago, and got the same response yesterday. BUt Ho ho!, i also got a special delivary yesterday morning, and it was the w800i.
Can't figure out what is happening with e2save. Their communication between department is in shambles. And they are also playing up with the customers.

They are a shambles. They told me no stock of the phone I ordered. When I rang up 20 mins waiting they told me nothing they can do. Phone arrived next day!

It was locked - rang orange as the orange sim that came with it would not work! They confirmed that the sim number etc was OK - suggested I try the sim in another phone - worked so it must be the phone.

Called E2Save after 20 mins waiting they said nowt to do with them it was an orange problem - I explained that the sim worked fine in another phone so must be the phone!

They told me to ring orange AGAIN and ask AGAIN and if they told me the same ring E2save back. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr

So rang orange again - to be told exactly the same - surprise surprise!

Rang e2Save again! another 20 mins waiting! They reluctantly agreed to replaced the phone and gave me a reference number! 2 weeks have gone by and I am still waiting for them to call me.

I AM NOT GOING TO CALL THEM ON AN 0870 NUMBER AS I DID PREVIOUSLY.

ps Since found out the phone works on Virgin!

i ordered mine on 3rd march and i am still waiting for it. i wonder how long e2save will leave the order open??!

e2save's 'clearance' offers are surely just too good to be true. Know this forum is about money saving and gawd knows I need to, but no way is a fancy phone which works fine for a year going to be free or 2 pounds for most of a 12month contract without a hitch somewhere.....surely. The operator would be offering you the same deal at around 25-30 pounds per month.
No such thing as a free lunch (unless it gives you food poisoning) imho
I can't even see a contact customer services ph no on their site unless I am mistaken? hope you get your phone & it works
