    Like the dog tags and I think he would prefer them too, will order him a set (2, we tend to loose things in this house):D

    Hi Tiami. My little one, who is 8 and non verbal too, wouldn't be able to point out a tag, but we sometimes when we are out write our mobile number on the back of her hand. Fortunately its never come to anyone having to use it, but it does give a bit of peace of mind, and doesn't really draw attention to the fact she is different, and also no risk of it coming off, or choking her by accident. Also very mse, and easy to change if she's out with someone other than me or her dad!

    I Think the National Autistic society have like little info cards that you can fill in and put in their pockets etc.
    also, lloyds pharamcy do a child locator where you have a reciever and if they stray to fay (you set the distance) an alarm sounds. Its about £10.

    I cant remember where I saw this I think it was an event in australia, but all the kids were wandering around with their parents mobile phone no. written in black marker down their arms!

    I remember thinking at the time it looked a little odd but was a great idea!

    I agree - marker pen and your mobile number on their bellies - less likely to get washed off, and easy to lift a T shirt to show the number.
