Trying to get to Barbados !

Hey myself and some friends have had quite a streneous year and have our hearts set on going ot Barbados for Crop Over (Carnival)..right now the tickets are in excess of £700 which we cant afford.. somebody recommended flying somewhere and getting another flight to the island..

Any suggestions as to what we can do.. We have budgeted for about £500....

PLEASE HELP ANYBODY!

Hi there,
When I fly there with work we often shuttle around the Islands for various reasons.
Often I fly to St.Lucia or Jamaica and then get a flight with Liat Airlines. There route network is pretty much all of the islands, so perhaps look at any flights generally.

I work for Virgin and we fly to
ST.Lucia
Antigua
Kingston
Mo Bay
Barbados
Tobago / Grenada
There are loads of special fares at the moment with us and other carriers and Liat airlines schedules are reasonably frequent

Thankyou ever so much for your response....it seems a lot of my other friends know someone who works for an airline anf have been able to get ticket for half of what we might have to pay?

Just a few quick questions...you say Virgin flies to all those islands....where would be the cheapest Island to fly to, to get a connecting flight with Liat, bearing in mind we want to fly duing the last week of July to first week of August.

My friend says sometimes Virgin and all the major carriers somtimes have a sale, in your honest opinion are we going to get anything better than £646, thats the cheapest I have found.:money:
