DPD courier service and Orange

Has any one else noticed that if you have a missed delivery from DPD formerly Parceline that delivery card lists a premium rate callback number but no advice as to charges on the card?
I advised Orange of this when i renewed my contract for mobile on Saturday.
To make matters worse they do not give a delivery timeframe outside of 8am - 7pm.
I was expecting delivery today so stayed in.
Their tracking service did not inform me that it would not be delivered today until 11 am. Day already mucked up.
They then gave alternate reasons to Orange and myself.
Also why is there a 30 notice period when cancelling and expired contract on a mobile?? Surely that cannot be legal!!
