Nokia 6020, getting no ringing alert!

hey guys, my mate has a nokia 6020 and has been using it for the last few weeks.
all of a sudden, today, he was telling me that the phone doesnt ring on an incoming alert. it only vibrates.

the profiles for the 'general' sound setting os on the highest level for the ringing volume, and the tone is set.

he's tried switching the phone on and off, but has had no joy.

anyone have any idea's?

may just need reflash or maybe hardware fault
as long as its not been liquid damaged at any time you can get it repaired under warrenty

Try reseting the phone go to phone reset option and pit in code 1234 and that should reset the phone to factory defualt.
