There is no "almost" about it. Why else would you do that sort of thing?I think it boils down to not caring what anyone else thinks about you. As long as you treat people how you want to be treated you have nothing to fear....

Hellooo! Just went for a supposedly nice easy run before RFL on Sunday, but ended up doing 5k in 35 mins, my fastest time ever! So pleased but hope my legs will recover before weekend!!

My mum came to everything I was in, plays, choir, etc and the only thing my dad came to was my swimming competitions which he pushed me into and I got to a stage where I was so worried about losing and letting him down that I would be nearly sick before every race. I think that insecurity has carried on with me into my adult life, as I spend my life worrying about what my scorg thinks and making sure he is ok and trying to please him that I am miserable a lot of the time.

Sorry you feel like you do - I have learned - like someone said earlier- we all struggle with 'stuff' and it's ok to be flawed and therefore human.
