Both use the same system, but the accounts/system are not shared (RBS can't access Natwest accounts, and vice versa.).
Anything that I do say, is strictly my opinion :p

Does that mean there are 2 computer centres, one in Scotland for RBS and one in England for NATWEST ?, and both with 2 sets of staff, or have they cut back and only use the one ?.

There will be numerous centres whilst they merge their systems, even more so with the Lloyds merger. I doubt they'll ever only have one though:eek:

With LloydsTSB they recently hired the guy that integrated NatWest in the RBS Group computer system in 2001/02 so I would assume that is what will happen with Lloyds Banking Group.
I have not worked for NatWest Bank since February 2009

Yes very true unless you have two RACFs.

I used to work for an RBS branch and now work in a natwest office.

So ive got two RACFS so I can sign into either.

hahaha! doubtful. I work dual brand so it can be done but it depends on what area of the business you work for.

Given with all the banks buying each other up I can see that the 'main banks' will merge their systems together. Makes sense on cost saving and muti-skilling really.
