Things I have thought of are
Summer pudding
Crumble
Fruit pie
over ice cream
Any way have made some strawberry and raspberry gin for my sister in laws birthday will put in a gift bag/ box along with some chocolates.
Would like to do some thing with the fruit that would last. Could I make some jam - will it set due to the alcohol present?
Made a trifle last year with some rasberries that I had used in liquor but everone said that it tasted too alcoholic ( I did not think so! but have to think of people driving ).
Also made a crumble from some cherries that I had used to make cherry brandy had boiled the cherries for 20 mins with extra sugar so all the alcohol should have gone - it still tasted very alchoholic.
Also can I freeze the fruit will it freeze or stay liquid.

I could be wrong but I would have thought Jam making could be possible but preserves like marmalade that have whisky. The whisky is usually added after the preserve has been made and cooled.
Personally I'd freeze the fruit and use it to top ice-cream for adult dinner parties or bbq's

I think the fruit will freeze but may remain a little soft. I don't think this will be a problem though and I think Ravylesley's idea od serving it over ice cream is lush. I'd add chocolate sauce too:drool:0

It will remain soft in the freezer, but will keep perfectly well. I have previously used up blackberries from doing blackberry vodka in blackberry & apple crumble. Because you only use a little, with another, non-alcoholic fruit, you don't get the overwhelming alcoholic taste. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0

We've used sloes & blueberries from making gin to make grown-up Black Forest dessert at Christmas......
Slice of chocolate log, dollop of berries with dribble of juice, dollop of posh vanilla ice-cream & another berry on top, then grate a little dark chocolate over the whole thing....
Also because they have a high alcohol content (effectively they are pickled!) they keep for a while in a sealed jar or pot in the fridge too, so can be used when you have ice-cream or meringues0 -
I love it with ice cream, so don't often have any left over, but you can always top it up with your preferred spirit and start again.
You can whizz them and freeze for later use in adult smoothies at barbies/parties. Strawberries and raspberries go very well with vimto and lemonade! :rotfl:

I made some blackcurrant brandy & am left with a large bag of boozy blackcurrants in my freezer. Apart from heating them up & serving with ice cream, does anyone have any ideas as to what to do with them please? I think I saw a thread about this ages ago, but haven't found it - sorry.0

Adding them to an apple crumble/pie or trifle?
if not how about an oaty/granola cereal and greek yogart with them and some honey?0 -
I'd add them to apple crumble or an apple sponge pudding, although having them with ice cream sounds good too.Back after a very long break!0
