Where can I repair my Liquid Damaged Mobile Phone
I've dropped my Nokia 5800 into my cup of coffee at work, sounds unbelievable I know but the mobile was on my in-tray and slipped off into the coffee. I picked it out straight away and it was working for about 15 mins but then went dead. Being a honest chap I told Vodafone the problem but the phone isn't covered by the warranty and Vodafone will not repair liquid damaged phones. I stupidly forgot to get insurance for the phone. If I cancel the 18 month contract I will have to pay £340 as a cancelation fee. Has anybody got any ideas what I can do? Thanks

carphonewarehouse - they are a nokia wotsit certified repair thingmajing.
alternatively you can go to nokia.co.uk and there is a link there to send a phone in for repair direct to nokia but better to go to carphonewarehouse and see what the damage. both will cost money of course.
Suspicious that it worked for a while - you might want to wait a couple of days to see if it comes back to life - maybe replace battery to see if it works. Open battery and take it out and sim - and dry it asap.
if repair costs too much - just have to do with a cheap pay and go phone and stick sim in that. and no more coffee from now on.0 -
Thanks I will give carphonewarehouse a go, cheers0
