Can I get out of this contract

I wonder where I stand - have recently changed from Vodaphone to O2. Got a deal where I have 200 minutes per month - far more than I usually use on a mobile but thought I'd use instead of my landline when at home. However I find that the reception is so poor that I still have to use my landline. Is this grounds for cancelling?

No, coverage isn't guaranteed. If you changed in last few days via online contract you may be able to under distance selling regs, otherwise you just have to pay up and sell the phone to cover remaining contract
