Moving from Sky to O2 Broadband?

Hi. I've been a Sky TV customer for many years. I've had their internet 'Max' package for 2 years. I've also recently (maybe 3 months ago) moved from a BT landline to a Sky landline. However, I know wish to move my broadband to O2. I understand that in order to switch, I need a BT landline. Am I ok to switch back from my Sky landline to BT, or is there a minimum contract?

I think a minimum contract period would apply with BT, and it may cost you £130 to have your BT line reinstated, they may waive this if you go for a longer contract.
That gum you like is coming back in style.

I think you've missed the point - I was asking if I could leave Sky Line Rental, or am I tied in for 12 months? Turns out, I don't think this matters as I've read that O2 broadband works on a Sky Line Rental line.

Just put your number into the o2 website and it will tell you if it can accept you and which packages are available. Ideally you want
    a) Their LLU packages - Std/Prem/Pro and not plain Access
    b) To sign up by 31/5 to get 3m free on Premium
    c) To sign up via a cashback site like Quidco to get £50

Depending on your line you can get a year's broadband (upto 24Mbps/uncapped) for cash outlay of as little as £68.11!
