I appreciate that i really do, i'm not being flippant honest.

Would the shop make enough money to warrant paying another person to run it...?

Or is there another shopkeeper nearby who you could a reciprocal arrangement with for some adhoc cover of the shop... a note in the window to say, "please see florist for access to the Book Shop"
I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....

Aren't you supposed to be elsewhere on Sunday....

    I'm doing both! :D

Driving down there Saturday night (is it still okay for me to stay with you?), RFL Sunday morning, driving to Warrington on Sunday afternoon, staying in a hotel there Sunday night so I can go out and don't have to drive!

And the best bit is, I was dreading Sunday night, as obviously the original plan was to spend the weekend with Shrek, and I've been in tears loads this week thinking I can't face being alone down there, but now I'm looking forward to the weekend so much, and I feel like I can concentrate on having a good run, in memory of my Gran, instead of being overwhelmed with sadness. :o

Almost feels like someone was watching over me.

I thought you'd definitely say no!
Still need to think about the shop though!

Bookie, if I was closer I would gladly spend a day doing the shop for you - would any of your friends who live nearby help? They might not have your knowledge but would at least be able to keep the shop open and ring straightforward purchases through the till.

    It is very tempting!
Funnily enough the landlord has just been in. The roof is being replaced plus lots of other work done. He's saying starting in about 5 weeks. There will be scaffolding up and total chaos. Might be best closing for a couple of weeks and re-launching!

You could launch a website at the same time...
