Good morning,
I am turning into my mother...in bed by 8, awake at 5! Should have gone for a run but can't wear bra because of burn still-really hurts. No sympathy though, my own stupid fault!

Have been playing with Sprout this morning, he is so cute! The kids are loving him but Turnip is not so happy-lots of kitty growling and spitting at him etc. We'll see what happens from here.

Back to work today *sigh* can't wait to leave-and I wish I knew when that was!

I have a couple of pictures of B.Russell Sprout (as named by Ellie, lol) and will try and post...:o

Hope everyone has a great day! Oh, and Congrats to Mr and Mrs Tine on the safe arrival of Little Tiny Tine!:j

xxxxxxx

  • Morning!

@ Bunny - Congratulations on the new cat. :)

I decided it would be a good idea to catch up on Ashes to Ashes on iPlayer last night. I only meant to watch one episode, 4 episodes later it was nearly 4 in the morning ( ) and I fell asleep with the light on and my laptop on the bed next to me. I'm now totally knackered. I'm going in for my morning lecture then I think I'll go back to bed and skip the afternoon one.

Maybe a wash would wake me up. Talk later.

    Morning all.

    Congrats Mr & Mrs Tine

    Congrats Bunny on new kitty

Anyone got any ideas what to use half an aubergine for? I used the first half for ratatouille and am at a loss what to do with the rest of it:confused:

Got nurse at noon for s test Thought I would have got over feeling uncomfortable about it after the indignities of induction and childbirth but apparently not:confused::(

Stick the other half in the bin *bleurgh* Aubergine.

Why not just stick it in with the rest of the ratatuoille?

    morning all -

congrats to mrs tine!! not that she'll be reading this, but it's nice to be nice!

Off to FB to look at pics of sprout...

Bunny - this is a long way off but if i were in wales in October holidays, is there any chance of a rematch mini meet at yours again, or even just a visit from me n erin? Would make the trip even more worthwhile!

As i'm flying to Dorchester, there's no stop offs on the way down now, so won't be calling into see any DFW's after all....

altho' was it planned we might meet up down there anyway some of us? for a beach partay!

less than 3 weeks to Leeds, i'm so excited!!!! payday tomorrow

Would have made too much to use and I find it doesn't freeze very well...

    Morning All by the way!

Had a lovely weekend for OH birthday but am still frustrated by the lack of progress getting better - 100 times better than I was but still not feeling back to myself either - hmph ;)

Anyway, went to Kew Gardens and soaked up the sun on Saturday, then went to our lovely hotel and had the most amazing Japanese food for dinner and a great brekkie then went home and chilled in the garden reading the Sunday newspapers and then yesterday watched Mo Farah set a new British 10k record in the Bupa 10,000 - amazing :D

Hope everyone else had fun :D
