UK current account with online European transfers?

Hi,
I wish to make occasional online payments to a European bank account using IBAN/BIC codes.
I just phoned my bank (Abbey) and they tell me the only way I can do this with them is to visit a branch - not online or via telephone banking. This is just not convenient for me - I can't remember the last year I had to visit a branch!
Does anyone know if there are any UK current accounts (with no fees) that would offer this service as part of their standard online banking offering?
Thanks,
Mercury

Having moved to the UK about 2 years ago from the Republic of Ireland, I was a bit surprised when I discovered that most UK banks don't offer this facility to their online banking solutions.
Beats me why they don't introduce such a facility, since it can be a good revenue generator taking into account the number of foreigners working over here who send money home regularly.0 -
Halifax do let you do it online or by phone, but they charge £9.50 per transfer.0

I used the free transfer service on Ivobank. Was worried as I think they're quite new and supposedly nothing's ever 'free' but it worked a treat and was pretty easy to set up my account :T0
