It was vandalism, not a crime in progress and that's why the police took an hour and a half to show up. You were lucky, I had to wait 12 hours for them once

When my windows get broken I wait 3 days for the police. Sure going to catch the culprits that way, right? :rolleyes:

police said they would have had a chance at catching them if they had gotten there quickly. When it's midnight and my family is asleep (have a 5yr old) and someone puts 4 bricks through my windows, I consider this emergency enough to have some assistance within a reasonable time.

I had no problem with the procedure after they turned up, the police are fine, there just isn't enough of them.

Moan moan, we are healthy at least.

too true, on the other side if you had gone out there and sorted it out yourself they would have been round straight away too much red tape nowadays with the police, they can do anything.
