Samsung Tocco Ultra - how to remove vodafone start up screen

My wife received A Samsung Tocco Ultra on upgrading her Vodafone contract.
Vodafone supplied the unlock code and I have put my Orange SIM in it and all services work OK.
I would like to remove the Vodafone start up screen that is still on the phone (red background with Vodafone logo in centre)
Can anyone explain how to remove it (and replace it with something else ie. photo)

Dont think you can remove the vodafone start up screen. This is because the phone is branded. You will need to "Debrand" the phone to get rid of the vodafone logos and software (firmware) on the phone.

Sorry but i dont have the phone, cant you change the background of the phone with wallpaper anyway?
