s'true though - peacock used to be a delicacy and they CAN fly - but they don't often, so those two factors may go some way to explaining why they're caged PLUS when all the neighbours are well and truly fed up with their screeching they may well need protection. re the flying - there is a peacock which regularly struts around parents' garden and then flies onto the roof of the house - makes an almighty racket when it lands - have a photo of it on my mobile!!

Waits for flyladies to google Oswaldtwistle LOL I don't need to ..
Don't put it down, put it away - thanks Valli

and incidentally the designer Ossy Clarke was so nicknamed because he came from Oswaldtwistle, apparently! I know that's a wiki link but I heard it from a reliable source initially, honestly!

I thought you made a resolution earlier in the year to stop wandering around the forums... you've relapsed :p... you're EVERYWHERE :D... and some of the places you've been are very strange

I'm heading off to bath & bed now.. no "it" for me though as I'm a single mum living on my lonesome :rotfl: Plus I have a DD who likes to invade my room. She got a telling off today though about it - sleep wear shall we say "changes" in the summer to something more cool and I don't want her walking in while I'm still in bed :o:mad: Apparently she doesn't do it to ex & his girlfriend so she can stop blooming doing it to me  Except are of course when I majorly oversleep, if she's ill and if I say she can come in ;):rotfl:

rosepink that's just like me at the mo, however it wasn't as nice as Italy. Some little darling aged about 4 kept chucking the rotten stuff too which didn't help! Oh and bunnies are natural chewers, which is why it's best to get them proper bunny trays wherever possible. They will usually chew anything they take a fancy to, no matter how much food they have. Mine used to prefer wood.

Rosey's been out here too, more so because I needed some good company to try to get to sleep tonight! Just the one visit of course, but nice all the same.

Have done another washer load, felt a little guilty for lack of work. Might fill DW too.....
One day I might be more organised...........
